1 i 1 J | ; r " c - OWNERS WITNESS WORKOUTS LATONIA, Ky., June 10.— Sam Furst and Manny Bauer, owners of Castle Cliff, Abe Furst and others trained by James Hukill, were visitors at the Hukill stable. They witnessed the works of several of their horses, chief of which were Abe Furst and Castle Cliff, both eligible for the Cincinnati Trophy. Abe Furst breezed three-eighths in company with My Prince in :36, while Castle Cliff, in company with Mt.ry Gage, was timed the same distance in :35%, handily. Mr. Furst is well pleaseu with Hunchback, which he bred and which is also eligible for the Trophy. However, it does not appear that he will be ready for the two-year-old fixture. Hunchback is by Menifee — Hammock, and the mare, which is at Allan Gal-* lahers breeding farm in Fayette County, has a yearling by Cherokee, and a suckling by Cherokee. The mare was bred to Prince Pal last week. Thistle Star, a winner of twenty-five races, which also raced for George Collins, was bred to Cherokee.
