i LATONIA TURF NOTES I • LATONIA, Ky., June 22. T. L. Pierce, acting for W. B. Hamilton, sold to John Nash the two-year-old Zean. Pierce will continue to train the youngster. The fourteen horses Dan Morris campaigned at Bainbridge Park arrived here Saturday morning. They came in charge of A. Plamer, stable foreman. Morris is motoring from the Cleveland track. John J. Flanigan came from the same place with twelve, and M. J. Reardon unloaded two from the same car. George Barnes arrived from Churchill Downs with Whiskaway, Eleanora M., Grammers Son, Carrie Etta, Prince Megan and Lady Versonia. F. P. Letellier brought Mince Pie, Bobby Power3, Royal Sport, Newburgher, Spanish Flight, Birthday Gift and Polyp. Vesee, which Louis Lee Haggin sold to George J. Mandle, was unloaded with the horses L. K. Rogers brought from Lexington. He also has Silkoline, which Johnny Shea campaigned for Looney and Jones at New Orleans and Lexington. The horse is the property of W. L. Lewis and L. K, Rogers. Mandle also owns Flying Silk, while Rogers has Great Boss for Luther Stivers and B. O. Randolph. Leroy Land sent Sin-ton, a two-year-o.d, in charge of trainer Rogers. Hal Price Headley announced that he would send twelve yearlings to Saratoga and would reserve the other sixteen for racing. They are the get of such fasion-able sires as Sir Gallahad III., Pharamond, Supremus and Apprehension. The latter stands at Mr. Headley5s Beaumont Farm. Jockey R. Simpson, the Negro rider, is expected from Canada and will be affiliated with the stable of horses Al Thomas Is training. Hal Price Headley motored from his Beaumont Farm to supervise the placement of the six horses that came from Washington Park and the ten head he vanned from Lexington. Those that arrived from his farm were Jay Walker, a Derby candidate, Squabbler, Tap Dance, Rummy, Ante, Triple Threat, Howtiz, Kneehigh and Preference. The six to come from the Home-wood course were May Play, Chu Chu, Ante Bellum, Prefer, Prepare and Primitive. The six horses Ray Kindred vanned from Lexington were Big Blue and Fate Hand, the property of M. J. Conley; Uncle Matt, which races for J. R. Devereaux; Old Fellow and Old Lady, the property of Hickey Brothers; Madam Florence, which will carry, the colors of Looney and Jones, and Bostou Hill, the property of W. J. and J. M. Foley. Dan Morris is expected from Bainbridge Park with fifteen horses. A carload of horses arriving from Lincoln Fields Saturday morning contained four, the property of Lon Jones. Harned Bros, had seven and C. A. Bidencope with four. Upsweep headed the Jones shipment; Typhoon, an Independence Handicap eligible, came with the Harned Bros, horses, and Estin was the leader of the Bidencope foxxft
