MY IDEAL showed good speed throughout and, shaking off AMOUR in the last sixteenth, drew clear near the end AMOUR, always closest to the winner, tired in the stretch. ZELLA K. worked her way up on the outside and finished fast. JEALOUS FOOL closed considerable ground in the stretch and was going well it the end. CHILL WIND was crowded back on the far turn. MISS ASAMA shook off the others after rounding the far turn and drew away into an easy lead in the stretch. THISTLE LASS was shuffled back on the far turn, came again when straightened out in the stretch and barely lasted to withstand CHICON. The latter worked his way up on the outside and finished strongly. STARZAN was a factor to the stretch, but tired steadily thereafter. VANITY CASE raced evenly. RUFLE, close up for half the way, tired in the stretch. ONE CENT was a factor throughout and, racing on the inside of ALAMAE throughout, nosed out the latter in the final strides. ALAMAE held on well at the end after racing on the outside all the way. PARTICIPATE improved his position and closed strongly next to the rail. FLEETING FIRE was shuffled back on the far turn, but could not get up. The others had no excuses. CURATOR raced forwardly throughout, had no excuses and finished gamelv. ISOARD raced into contention approaching the stretch turn, but tired in the last eighth. ILLUSTRIOUS finished strongly.
