I WASHINGTON PARK NOTES I $ , — HOMEWOOD, 111., June 22. Dr. G. Cann returned from Bainbridge Park and points in Virginia, where he rendered professional services. O. Halvorsen, Chicago sportsman, who plans to race an average sized stable, is making a trip to C. W. Hays Scotland Farm in Kentucky to inspect the yearlings there. Jockey J. Marcum has affiliated with the stable of Mrs. Emil Denemark and accompanies that establishment to Arlington Park. John Goode, with the Desha Breckinridge and Jouett Shouse horses, ships to Latonia Thursday. He has a Latonia Derby eligible in Royal Ruffin. Lon Johnson, with the W. H. Whitehouse stable, hopes to get away Tuesday night for Latonia. Spanish Play, Knebelkamp and Morris Latonia Derby candidate, will make the trip to the Kentucky track in the same car. Knights Call and eleven others of B. B. Jones Audley Farm Stable horses leave tonight for Latonia in charge of Terry OMalley. Kay Spence is taking a band of the Audley Farm Stable horses, headed by Gallant Knight, to Arlington for the first ten days of that meeting. Following the Stars and Stripes Handicap the Independence holiday feature at Arlington Park, Gallant Knight goes to Latonia for the Enquirer Handicap. Mrs. Payne Whitneys Greentree Stable, Mrs. John Hay Whitneys Lightning Bolt and a few horses owned by Edward Haugh-ton, trainer of the former, got away tonight in two cars fo Latonia. Twenty-one head made up the important shipment. William Hurley is starting a number of the E. R. Bradley horses here this week and will not get away from Latonia until Saturday night, at which time many other stables get away. Dan Morerity left tonight for his home at Hot Springs and leaves there Thursday for Latonia. W. R. Norvell, well known racing official, is here in quest of horses for the Kenilworth Park meeting.
