LOUISIANA DERBY CONDITIONS NEW ORLEANS, La., Jan. 12 Conditions for the first running of the 0,000 added Louisiana Derby, under the auspices of the Louisiana Jockey Club will be as follows: A sweepstakes for three-year-olds. By subscription of 5 each, starters to pay 00 additional to the winner, with 0,000 added, of which ,000 to second, ,000 to third and 00 to fourth. Weight 124 pounds. Non-winners of 0,000 twice or 0,000 allowed four pounds; ,500 twice, or 0,000 allowed six pounds; ,500 twice or ,500 other than claiming, eight pounds; two races of any kind, ten pounds, maidens fifteen pounds. Starters must be named through the entry box the day before the race by 10:30 a. m., but only those passing the scales are liable for starting fee. Supplementary entries may be made on or before Saturday, March 5, by subscription of 00 each, which shall accompany the nominations. Starters to pay 00 additional to the winner. Entries close at the 5 subscription cost January 30. Distance is one mile and one-eighth.
