; CLAIMS AND SALES. f S J. W. Kidd purchased Ahpet at Agua Cali-ente at private terms. More Space was claimed-out of the third race at Havana Sunday for ,000 by H. C. Rumage. Julius Wessler sold the plater Guffle to Paul Sanford at Miami. The terms were private. W. F. Yergason claimed Prepare, winner of the fifth race at Miami Monday, for ,500. The stewards excused Deemster from starting in the third race. Mrs. C. Gregory, former owner, claimed the horse Thursday for ,500. Daily News was sold by Baron Long to John A. Coburn at private terms. The youngster is a three-year-old and two-time winner at the present Agua Caliente meeting. Truxton was claimed from the sixth race at Havana, Friday, by J. E. Smallman for ,200. H. C. Rumage also lodged a claim, but was outdrawn.
