ODOM GOES TO MIAMI NEW YORK, N. Y., Jan. 12. Trainer George Odom has packed his golfing paraphernalia and departed for Miami, Fla.,-where he will combine business and pleasure. During the next six weeks Odom will have charge of fifteen thoroughbreds, which are now quartered at the Miami Jockey Club track in the care of Bill Knight, preparing for the meeting opening January 14. Jockeys Thurber and Long,v who ride the Odom-trained horses, have been exercising the horses at the Florida track for a considerable time.
