E. J. BRENNANS ENGAGEMENTS BALTIMORE, Md., Feb. 16 Edward J. Brennan was today signed as secretary for the two-day meeting to be held during the week of May 15 at Media, by the Rose Tree Hunting Club. Brennans other assignments this year are as follows: Secretary at Hagerstown, Md., May 17 to 21, inclusive; assistant to Frank J. Bryan during Pimlicos spring and fall meetings; secretary at Radnor Hunt Club, Berwyn, Pa.; secretary at Rose Tree Hunting Club, Media, Pa.; secretary at Cumberland, Md., August 22 to August 27; secretary at Timonium, Md., September 5 to 10, inclusive; secretary at Hagerstown, Md., September 13 to 17, inclusive. Other racing associations are seeking Brennans services. It has been through Brennans efforts that halfrmile racing in this state, has grown so rapidly in recent years. .Many big stables that limited their efforts to the mile tracks are now racing their horses over the "twice around courses."
