NINETEEN NOMINATED NEW ORLEANS, La., Feb, 16. Nineteen horses, including a large percentage of the leading three-year-olds and older horses available for the race, were nominated for the third running of the ,000 added Jack L. Dempsey Memorial Handicap, to be run at a mile at Fair Grounds Saturday. The starters may number twelve and the race should prove one of the best of the winter. Announcement of weights will be made Wednesday. The nominees follow: Abdel, Broad Meadows, Bar Hunter, Glastonbury, Surf Board, Jimmy Moran, Wotan, Spanish Play, Gettin Even, Uncommon Gold, Prince Atheling, Silverdale, Renaissance, Lucky Tom, Defier, Playtime, Hyman, Quatre Bras II. and Bar-gello.
