FAIR GROUNDS TURF NOTES E. Hayward, trainer, was fined 0 for having On Sir worked out an additional quarter following his participation in the fifth race Monday without proper permission. Apprentice J. Neel was suspended for five days for rough riding astride Monde in the fourth race Monday. Jockey J. Sylvester was suspended five days by the stewards for rough riding astride Na Zdar in the seventh race Monday. Additional applications for stalls at Exposition Park for the coming spring meeting, filed with Frank M. Otis today, included those of J. J. Greely, Superior Stable, J. H. Buscher, C. Morris, B. Moots, J. Poland and J. E. Hughes. W. R. "Jack" Jarvis, designer of the Jarvis starting gate, was an arrival from Florida and will spend a few days here befort proceeding to his home in Texas. C. M. Spradley of Dallas and widely known throughout racing and breeding circles, is a visitor. Mr. Spradley is an attorney and in recent weeks visited Havana 1 and other points on the island. 4
