Phar Lap Versus Twenty Grand Twenty Grand, Americas champion race horse of 1931, may meet Phar Lap, Australias wonder horse here in Chicago. This international contest probably will take place at Arlington Park in the Arlington Handicap or Arlington Cup. According to word from Agua Caliente, Phar Lap has been entered in stakes to be run at Washington Park, Arlington Park and Saratoga. The management of Washington Park has acknowledged the receipt of the entry of Phar Lap for the Francis S. Peabody and Robert M. Sweitzer Handicaps, and the star from the Antipodes may make his Chicago debut in one or the other of these events. However, Twenty Grand is not scheduled to make his bow as a four-year-old before the Arlington meeting, and there is a strong probability that the champions of America and Australia may clash in one of Arlingtons outstanding races.
