SHIP TO CHURCHILL DOWNS Thomas and Letellier Horses Intended for Kentucky Racing1. Pelleterl Horses to Be Shipped to Aurora New Orleans Owner Plans Chicago Campaign. NEW ORLEANS, La., March 23. A. V. Thomas and F. P. Letellier have completed arrangements to ship their stables to Churchill Downs during the latter part of the week. Due to extreme cold weather in the North, there was but one horse shipped from the local tracks Wednesday. This was Anavra, a two-year-old owned by OConnell and Rector, and which went amiss. He will be turned out for the summer. Mai Moza and Molly Hogan, owned by B. Hernandez, local turfman, have been turned out near New Orleans for the summer months. W. "Chappie" Sims, trainer of the R. C. Thatcher stable, left for Hot Springs to take a short rest prior to assuming charge of his horses at Louisville early in April. J. C. McNamara, who raced a few horses here during the past winter season, has taken over the horses of A. B. Letellier, local turfman, as well as those belonging to G. F. Schreiner of Kerrville, Texas. The Letellier horses include Sazerac, a hopeful for three-year-old fixtures. McNamara reports that the colt has recovered from the attack of .colic that kept him out of the Louisiana Derby. J. Mancuso, local turfman, has added Little Toots to his stable by private sale and turned the filly over to J. D. Larkin to trairi.-M. McGonigle, connected with the C. H. Knebelkamp stable and who suffered arr attack of appendicitis last week, was reported in a serious condition at a local hospital. It "was said by his friends that physicians ordered no visitors be allowed to his room. A. Pelleteri, local turfman, plans to return here from Bowie following the close of that season and superintend the transfer of fourteen horses he left here, to Aurora. Pelle-teris plans call for an all-Chicago campaign during the summer months.
