PLANE DELAYS OFFICIALS AGUA CALIENTE, Mexico, March 23. Despite the ideal summer-like weather, one of the smallest crowds of the meeting attended the races at Agua Caliente this afternoon. The track was fast and a seven race program was down for decision. Some excitement was caused about the track when it was reported shortly before the opening race was scheduled to the post that stewards Nelson, Schilling, racing secretary Dunne and starter Cassidy were missing, but it was discovered that they had taken a trip to Enscnada, sixty miles down the Mexican coast in Cassidys plane and had been forced down. The plane was repaired quickly however, and they returned in time for the opening race.
