STARTER CASSIDY TO RESIGN AGUA CALIENTE, Mexico, March 24. It was reported today that starter Marshall Cassidy would tender his resignation to the Agua Caliente management at the close of the present season. Cassidy, one of Americas outstanding starters, has been officiating at the barrier below the border for nine years and has made many friends by his good work. The reason for his withdrawal from the Agua Caliente staff of officials is not known.
