LADY BROADCAST WILL RACE AT AURORA TRACK! i. 4 AURORA, III., March 24. Herbert M. Woolf, millionaire Kansas City sportsman, will campaign his string of thoroughbreds, headed by Lady Broadcast, at Exposition Park, Aurora, according to stall applications received from trainer B. A. Jones. Jones asked for, and was granted, eleven stalls. Heading his list is the six-year-old daughter of Messenger Couscous, a great local favorite, and winner this month of the Cuban Grand National at Havana, the standout feature of the winter meeting, which recently closed at Oriental Park. With Lady Broadcast on the ground and Burning Up already promised by Emil Denemark, patrons -of the Fox Valley course will see the winner and runner-up in the Cuban stake. Others in the Woolf string as listed by trainer Jones are: Culloden, Best Man, Lucille K., Love Apple, Col. Cloister, Cute Cloi, Belle Mystery, Uncle Henry, Portinetta and Unencumbered. John J. Coughlin, the famous alderman of the first ward in Chicago, also has made reservations for a division of his stable. He listed the following: First Regiment, Lugen Luggage, Dolly Polly, Lillian Tobin, Martha Florence, George Maypole, Marraine, Friars Phantom, Karl Eitel, Very Well and La-Coed. Another of the better class stables for Aurora is that of Ray Pollard, of Dallas, Texas. He named such Chicago favorites as Uluniu, Cog-Air, Princeton, Gold Mint, Top Hattie, Spanfair, Chiva, Guide Right, Fair Argument and Jaz Age.
