EMANUEL SALE RUMOR FALSE NEW YORK, N. Y., March 24. J. P. "Sammy" Smith arrived at Belmont Park with the Dorwood Stable horses. They wintered at Aiken and shipped in good condition. Smith will await the opening at Jamaica and will not ship to Maryland as in other years. Twenty-nine horses were in the shipment, twenty-two of which are two-year-olds. Smith denied the rumor that had been circulated at Belmont Park that the Dorwood Stable was for sale. "Ever since I have been with Mr. Emanuel, each spring the same rumor crops up, so you see I would have been surprised if the old rumor had not shown up this year,"-stated the trainer.
