• PIMLIC0 TURF NOTES f t s Jockey Jimmy Smith received word this morning not to leave for Churchill Downs as his contract employer, E. R. Bradley, had signed Elmer James to handle Brother Joe in the Derby Saturday. If the track is muddy Laverne Fator will ride Brother Joe and James will be up on Burgoo King. Trainer Norman Kennedy arrived with F. Augustus Goodwins Landboy, one that will start in the Billy Barton steeplechase. R. F. Carman, Jr., intends to ship the Nevada Stock Farm horses to Washington Park, Chicago, at the conclusion of this meeting.
