FIGURISTE, starting well from an outer position, took the lead after going a short distance and, racing as if best, increased her lead in the stretch and won easily. SIR MICHAEL dashed to the front soon after the start, showed a good performance, but could not hold the winner. LERACK raced fairly well and was easily best of the others. STAMBUL could not keep up. TUFINUF outbroke the others and, racing gamely under good riding, lasted to hold TEWSENELDA safe. The latter raJed into a contending position soon after the start, withstood a hard stretch drive gamely, but could not hold the winner. HALF DAY was in close quarters on the inside early, but continued next to the rail throughout and was easily best of the others. AGNES SOREL closed a gap on the outside and was racing well at the end. JIMMIE L. tired in the stretch. THE SHOW OFF met early interference and was never dangerous. OLEMAN SUNSHINE quit badly.
