] DUE AT WASHINGTON PARK Big Stable of Audley Farm Expected at Homewood Today — Gallant Knight Coming. First to apply for stall reservations for Washington Parks thirty-day meeting, beginning May 23, Audley Farm racers, nm-bering thirty-five, are due to arrive Friday. One division will be brought from Maryland, the other from Berryville, Va. Terry OMalley, agent, representing trainer Kay Spence, paying a call at the office of C. W. Hay, general manager of Washington Park, said every horse in the Audley Farm band is fit and ready. It is his belief that the outfit is the best Audley Farm has assembled. Gallant Knight, he said, would be sent to the post in the Washington Park Handicap, a six furlongs dash. This will be the inaugural feature of the meeting, which has attracted sixty-five of the fastest thoroughbreds in training. Higher, by High Cloud — ■ Ballet Dancer, is another Audley Farm eligible in the Washington Park Handicap. He has been showing flash in trials. OMalley, voicing the opinion of trainer Spence, said Gallant Knight promised to be among the greatest of this years handicap battlers, probably the peer of all. This son of Bright Knight — Ethel Gray is at the peak of form, OMalley states, citing his recent dazzling triumph. The Audley Farm horses will be divided in stall allotment. Twenty will be housed at Washington Park, the others at Linsoln Fields. Trainer Spence likely will have the largest number of horses for the Washington Park campaign. Other stables of exceptional class and numerical strength will be those of Mrs. Emil Denemark, Col. E. R. Bradley, C. V. Whitney, A. A. Baroni, H. P. Gardner, Three Ds Stock Farm, John Marsch, Albert Sab-ath, Hal Price Headley, Jack Howard, Laird and Parrish and Dixiana Farm. «
