t WOODBINE PARK NOTES | 4 g, P. B. Codd, the C. C. Hastings outfit and Ed. Springers lot are expected from Jamaica. The Kings Plate candidates Spey Crest and Fragrant, of the Barrie sportsman, W. H. Wright, were sent a mile Thursday morning. The distance was covered in 1:51%, handily, over a sticky, holding track. Ex-jockey Clarence "Polo" Ireland, a protegee of "Uncle Billy" Garth and at present attached to the Ryland H. New stable as foreman, will leave some time this month for Montreal where he will serve as assistant starter on Jack Yerians staff. Storm Path, three-year-old daughter of Thunderstorm and Briar Path and the property of T. J. Blessing, is expected at Woodbine Park shortly from the Torrence Farm where she wintered. Jim Boden has re-engaged Johnny Starr as agent for the stable he is training. Starr will look after the engagements of jockeys Jeffries and Sullovey. W. G. Campbell has returned from New York where he campaigned the string of Conny Smythe at Jamaica. The horses were expected at Woodbine Park Thursday after- 1 noon. Tom Hogarths mare Vimy Ridge has foaled a colt by Rockville. Word received from New York is to the effect that the Geneseo Stable will not arrive at Woodbine until Sunday. The string will embrace seventeen head. Jockey Reggie Fisher has gone to work for C. Ferraro, for whom he formerly rode.
