| RIVERSIDE PARK TURF NOTES | 4 • L. D. Brown purchased the contract of apprentice rider J. Ferguson from J. D. Mikel. The consideration was private. Frank D. Weber, a horseman from San Diego, dropped dead while on his way to the track Tuesday morning. It is not known if Weber has any relatives at San Diego and track officials are trying to find friends or relatives to take charge of the remains. The stewards investigating the alleged Chubby Roan incident have ordered Henry Berg of Liberal, Kansas, the breeder and part owner of the animal, to appear before : them to state his side of the case. H. Wright, who is registered as the owner here, claimed the horse was a roan when he purchased his share and later his color changed to a gray.
