ECONOMIC ARRIVES | J AT BAINBRIDGE PARK J CLEVELAND, Ohio, June 2.— J. H. Louch-cheims Economic the popular choice for the Ohio State Derby, 0,000 added, to be run Saturday, arrived this morning at Bainbridge. The colt shipped in excellent shape and will be given an "airing" tomorrow as a final "prep" before the running of the big event. The field for the Derby will include Economic, favorite, Springsteel, Open Hearth, Adobe Post, Our Fancy, Minton, Royal Lassie, Merrily On and Nell Kuhlman. The performances of Our Fancy, Minton and Nell Kuhlman have local fans pulling for this trio to defeat the invaders. If the track is muddy Nell Kuhlman will have plenty of supporters. P. H. "Pat" Knebelkamp, who has Adobe Post in the Saturday Classic, arrived last night. He said that Richard Morris, his partner, would be here to view the Derby Saturday. Adobe Post went a mile over a muddy track around the "dogs" this morning in 1:49%. The fractions were :26%, :53 and 1:21%.
