1 LAT0NIA TURF NOTES 4 3 The second division of the Mose Gold-blatt stable arrived from Washington Park Friday morning in charge of assistant trainer Jerry Goldblatt. The shipment comprised the Quickstep Handicap eligible Smear; Habanero, which is named for the Latonia Derby; Jack B., Pollywog, Angry, a Quickstep eligible; K. Russell, Simon, a candidate for the Trophy; Cynara and Wotan, which Goldblatt purchased out of the Edward Haughton sale. Word was received from Chicago Friday morning that Clyde Van Dusen would transfer the pretentious Dixiana stable and three of his own to Latonia. F. A. Wehle vanned his La Feria and Journeys End from Lexington Friday morning. They will be turned over to H. Cavanaugh on his arrival from Washington Park. J. B. Respess left for Chicago to witness the running of the American Derby. Respess colors will be carried in the Washington Park classic by Our Fancy. R. G. Denny arrived from Churchill Downs with Little Cousin, Chemulus, Last Promise, Transcendent, Arbitrate, Miss Johnny and My Folly. Little Cousin, Last Promise and Arbitrate are the property of Mrs. T. J. Regan. Transcendent and Chemulus run in the interest of J. N. McClure and My Folly is owned by Miss C. Regan. Charles Gormley, an attache of the jockey room on the Kentucky tracks, was able to leave the hospital where he underwent a minor operation.
