Spencer, who was incapacitated from riding when he was struck in the eye with a clod during the Connaught Park meeting, has recovered from his injury and will be seen in action again at Dorval. The management of the Niagara Falls track will hold a conference in Montreal Sunday when they will confer with Kennedy Hill, who will act as racing secretary, and J. McCallum, who will be manager of the meeting. It is the purpose of the club to obtain officials of standing. Purses will range in value from 00 to ,000. Among the club house patrons was J. P. White, who came up from New York for the afternoons sport. He was accompanied by Frank Kearns, who looks after the horses that Mr. White races on the New York tracks. Ryland H. New notified Kenneth Dawes, president of the Montreal Jockey Club, that he was bringing up a party of friends from Toronto to witness the running of the race for lady riders Tuesday.
