HAPPY SCOT followed the pace under restraint and, moving up fast when called upon, disposed of the leader and held PORTDEN safe to the end. The latter, outrun early, worked his way up and finished fast. MABLA drew into command, showed early speed and had no mishaps. HAMPTONIAN jumped well and, kept close up, took command when called upon, but was not good enough for the winner. JACK ANTHONY showed a good performance. EASY DAY, outrun in. the early stages, worked her way up steadily, finished with a rush in the stretch and wore down CRAZY JANE in the last strides. The latter forced the pace from the start, disposed of HILENA in the stretch run and held on well. BARN SWALLOW moved up with determination on the inside in the stretch run and finished gamely. SUNNY QUEEN, well up all the way, had no mishaps. EDELWEISS began slowly and closed some ground. ISEULT faltered in the stretch run. HILENA showed early, speed, but quit badly in the stretch. STAR FAIRY raced well throughout. ENACTMENT had no mishaps. BAY AGNES quit. WELCOME GIFT and DID SHE had no mishaps. The latter crossed over sharply to the inside on the First turn, showed good speed under restraint and had no mishaps. ARROWFLIGHT moved up with determination entering the stretch and outlasted COLOSSAL in the final drive. The latter, on the inside rounding the final turn, held on well. THE CRANE had no excuses.
