I SARATOGA TURF NOTES I S Trainer James Fitzsimmons stated that he would ship the Belair Studs Faireno to Chicago Monday. Among those that have signified their intention of shipping to Syracuse are the Ken-sico Stable, George Fox, Jimmie Ritchie, J. P. Jones and A. Snider. H. Tresch arrived from Rancocas Farm with the entire lot of horses that are to be sold here. Trainer Fred Hopkins will ship Equipoise to Chicago Wednesday for his engagement in the Hawthorne Gold Cup. Clarence Turner came up from Hagers-town for a few days. He stated that there are plenty of horses at that point. H. M. Stevens, Jr., returned from the Olympic games at Los Angeles and joined his father here. Mrs. G. D. Wideners Sky Haven came out of the two-year-old race Friday lamed and will be an absentee for some time, according to trainer A. J. Joyner. The colt suffered a back ailment. John J. Brady reported that the special train from New York brought up a big crowd and was a sell-out for the return trip. George Odom will leave for Delhi, N. Y., tonight to see the R. L. Gerry yearlings at the farm. Jockey A. Snider suffered a broken collar bone when he was thrown from a horse this morning. Joseph M. Schenk was host to the turf writers here before the running of the first race and outlined plans for the coming winter meeting at Agua Caliente. F. E. 3rowna Condescend came" out of the first race cut down behind and will be an absentee for some time.
