DERBY WINNER OUT FOR YEAR Special Correspondence. LONDON, England. Tom Walls, owner-trainer of the Derby winner April the Fifth, has decided to keep the three-year-old son of Craig-an-Eran and Sold Again in training for another year. He will not run again this season. He will be pointed for the Coronation Cup at Epsom and the Ascot Gold Cup, the only races for which he will be nominated next year. Walls believes that his colt, but for an accident, would havo added the St. Leger Stakes to his Derby victory. He started in the classic at Don-caster despite the fact that he had no real preparation for the one mile and three furlongs race.
