WIDENER BUYS SIRE SICKLE LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct. 3. Joseph E. Widener, president of the Westchester Racing Association in New Work and also of the Hialeah Park track in Florida, while at his Elmendorf Farm here announced that he ha dclosed an option for the imported thoroughbred stallion Sickle, which he brought to America three years ago. He paid Lord Derby 25,000 guineas, that is about 4,000, for the son of Pharlaris Selene, by Chaucer. t I J 1
