PADDOCK SALE AT YONKERS Fair Prices Realized for Horses in Training Sold Before Thursdays Racing at Empire City. YONKERS, N Y., Oct. 27. The final sale of horses in training, held under the auspices of the Fasig-Tipton Company, was held in the Empire City paddock before the . running of the first race. Charles "Clem" McCarthy acted as auctioneer and realized fair prices on the lots offered. The crowd was small, due to the weather, but bidding on the choice offerings was brisk. Sara Burdon realized top price of the vendue. This mare went to W. H. La Boy-leaux for Sl,375. Oriley, consigned by William Hogan, was sold to Joe Edwards for ,300.
