MOVEMENT TO NEW ORLEANS Steady Stream of Horses Reaching Crescent City Track for Nearby Winter Racing Season. NEW ORLEANS, La., Nov. 7. The steady stream of horses reaching here almost daily for the opening of the Jefferson Park season on Thanksgiving Day con tinued through Monday. A number of horsemen arrived here with their charges the most important of which was the Southland Stable, maintained by Charles Bacharach, local sportsman. The Southland horses were in charge of John Daniels and comprised eighteen head. Ten of the number were yearlings, recently taken up at Lexington and will be prepared for racing January 1, when they become two-year-olds. Included among the older horses were My Hobby, Playtime, All Upset, Miss Mona, Pass Christian, Disturb, Pen-andink and Bloki. The Southland shipment went into quarters at the Fair Grounds. Other stables that found quarters at the Orleans Parish course were those of Sam Guanero, with Wild Child and Big Dock, J. Hanover with Trek, while F. T. Miller registered Iskum and R. Richards had Mor-vich Niece and Ravenal, another arrival was George Vuillemot, who had Sid Lea. Anthony Cook, business agent for the pretentious J. J. Robinson stable, is among the arrivals for the season. He came in advance to prepare quarters for the horses to be raced here under the supervision of H. D. Riddle. A division of the John Marsch stable is due to unload at the Fair Grounds Tuesday. The shipment, it was stated, will include a number of yearlings and older horses that have been rested through the past summer. Applications for stable accommodations have been received at the Fair Grounds from J. G. Chinn, W. G. Wilson, J. C. Cahn and W. D. Bernhardt.
