NEW ORLEANS TURF NOTES $ The only shipment of horses to pe unloaded at Jefferson Park Saturday morning were six yearlings, all by Cudgel, the property of J. Cattarinich and bred in Canada on the Verchere Stock Farm, near Montreal. The youngsters were received in good health and in the same car were the two-year-old LErable and the three-year-old Logwood. Joe McClymon, who trained a division of the Cattarinich horses last summer, will be the agent for the Cattarinich establishment during the winter campaign here and will handle the book of jockey H. West, who is under contract to the Canadian breeder. M. Resiguet, who has raced here the past few seasons, is back again with Penn, James M., Big Doug and Wild Child. W. C. Trover, another regular, has at Jefferson Park a two-horse stable in Polylith and Out Bound. The stable of H. Herendeen now here consists of Premeditate, Anna Adelia, Fill In, Flagg Porter and seven yearlings. One by Sir Gallahad III., three by Last Reveille, one- each by Dozer, Old Boss and Chatter-ton. Rex Cooper was a recent arrival and brought Portmess and Agnes Sorel. The useful stable of J. Bronnenberg consists of The French Rose, Dark Star, Bell Cap, Infanta, Tony Pride, Lexington Lady, Dry Nation and three yearlings. J. B. Theall, who races under the title of Lone Star Stable, has another large stable quartered at Jefferson Park. His charges are Durva, Morsun, Skid, Michigan Boy, Riff Raff, Roguish Miss, Doramelia, Miss Delight, Miss Sorority, Well Behaved, Aunt Deb, Dick Chevely, Upon, Chicon and The Okah. Jockey J. Neel, who starred in the saddle last season at Jefferson Park, is the stable rider. Marion Allen is another who has a large stable quartered at Jefferson Park. In his barn are Anne Arundel, Wild Cress, Prate, Black Flash, Enduring, Eugene OSullivan, Ad Remmcon, Raven, Mad Flight, Dacite, Morroll and Northern Water. J. Bainton, who is training a public stable, was an arrival from Sportsmans Park and brought along King Pin, Batty, Go Fetch, Milyda, Tufinuf and two yearlings, which have been named Jacks Pal and Lills Pet. B. Bagley has made application to ship Kelso, Providence Lad, Gray Boy, King Halma, Garden Seat and First Rate. Bagley is handling the horses for J. G. Brown. H. W. Burkhart has a useful stable at Jefferson Park for Clayton Morris, the Texas breeder. The band which Burkhart is getting ready are the home-breds Uncommon Gold, Sporting Pearl, Raffler Con. Raffles Chance and Lawful Gamble. Burkhart expects to receive several yearlings from the farm in a few weeks. W. M. Cain, who has been racing here for years, has another large stable to campaign. The horses are already on the grounds and the stable is made up of Alamae, Fortunate Mann, Purple Robe, Judas, Chris. Paschen, Val J., Marie B., Bud K.. Christine K., Nancy Cloi, Shasta Belle, Ethel Galliger, Sprig, Patrick and one yearling.
