FIELD FOR BASHFORD MANOR Constant Wife and Miss Patience Among Starters in Churchill Downs Feature Today. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 12— Nine two-year-olds, including the winter champions, Constant Wife and Miss Patience, are named to start in the Bashford Manor Stakes, ,000 added fixture, that will be renewed at five furlongs here tomorrow. Constant Wife, owned by Charles T. Fisher, master of Dixiana, accounted for a stake at Hialeah Park, the Hinata Purse at Lexington and other races, while Miss Patience, recognized queen of the juveniles at New Orleans, was unbeaten in three starts at the Fair Grounds. Although she will carry top weight by the scale of 122 pounds, Constant Wife is expected to rule favorite, with Miss Patience a strong second choice.
