t WOODBINE TURF NOTES 4 «► Mrs. F. Ambrose Clark, who had the honor of winning the recent renewal of the Grand National Steeplechase at Liverpool with Kellsboro Jack, has shipped a division of her stable to Woodbine in charge of James Healy. The stable is composed of thirteen horses, mainly steeplechase performers. Jockey Tommy Luther accompanied the stable and will ride the flat runners. Jockey Terry Wilson was an arrival from Maryland. Wilson will be remembered as having won the Kings Plate in 1923 astride Flowerful, for the Seagram Stable. "Skeets" Garner, official clocker of the Havana-American Jockey Club and a former star rider, was a visitor at Woodbine. Jewell Brothers wired to the Ontario Jockey Club cancelling their stalls for the spring meeting. Sara Sang, a two-year-old from the R. S. McLaughlin string, developed blood poisoning after being kicked and it was found necessary to destroy the daughter of Kai-Sang. Charlie Irby unloaded twelve head at Thorncliffe Park Wednesday afternoon, the property of the Tranquility Farm and Donnelly and Rush. »
