I SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES 1 ® ® Condition books covering the last week of the meeting were issued Friday morning. J. Malzan came over from Aurora to ride Shorty O. for his contract employer, W. A. Mikel. Walter Haljean is making the engagements of jockey R. Tilden, who is riding in splendid form. Jolly Pilot, recently claimed by M. Simmons, is entered in the La Salle Handicap Saturday. The sixth race Friday was for bona fide owners of Illinois and was contested over the seven furlongs route. Jockey R. Tilden was not able to make the weight on American Thunder and was forced to cancel the engagement.
