PIMLICO TURF NOTES | . « 9 Secretary Frank J. Bryan had a notice posted in the secretarys office notifying horsemen that, on Preakness Day, 8 oclock had been set as a time limit for scratching. Willie Wilson will entrain for Toronto with the big stable he is handling for several Canadian owners, and R. G. Cooper loaded the horses he is racing here on an express car billed for the Mount Royal track in Montreal. Maj. Ral Parr, recently returned from a trip around the world, witnessed the races from his box in the clubhouse enclosure. Elmer Trueman has shipped to J. B. Black at Frankfort, Ky., the two-year-old filly Wise Dream. Rigan McKinney, who rode Bandit in the steeplechase Thursday, was at the track Friday afternoon, hobbling about on crutches. In the fall Mr. McKinney strained the tendons in his right leg, and it will be a few weeks before he will be seen in the saddle again. ♦
