C. E. DAVISONS BIG STABLE HOMEWOOD, 111., June 1. Clarence E. Davison, who last year purchased an Illinois breeding- farm, has one of the largest stables quartered at Washington Park. Headed by No More, winner of the Washington Park Handicap, the big establishment comprises some of the most useful racing material that is campaigning here. Although No More, due to his handicap victories, is looked upon as the chief standard-bearer, the veteran Jack Alexander is the dean of the stable. The son of Great Britain, now. in his tenth year, has been a frequent winner for the Davison stable. The only juvenile in the menage is Just Old, a bay daughter of Justice F. and Power of Gold II., which Davison is training for V. B. Carmichael. Others in the stable are: Cheers, Barrido, Annan, Chiefs Challenger, Polyphote, Hot Shot, Tryandagain, Bag Smasher, Cesare, Infinity, Sister Mary, Tanist, Flirting and Plucky Girl. The latter, a four-year-old filly, is a full sister of Plucky Play.
