9 PLAYDALE HEADS STEING HOMEWOOD, 111., June 1. Sam Bryant Ott, grandson of Sam Bryant of Proctor Knott fame, is training ten horses at Washington Park for Tom Taggarts French Lick Springs Stable. The Taggart stable is headed by Playdale, which was acquired last summer and later won two stakes at Arlington Park. Through Omond is the other seasoned horse in the stable, while the juveniles are: Safe and Sound, bay gelding For Fair Refugee II.; The Fawcett, bay gelding Leonardo II. Nysiade; Charlie Bruce, chestnut gelding St. Germans Thundery; Blue Queen, chestnut filly Blue Pete Queen Mab II.; Air Ace, bay gelding Light Brigade Canbera; Buck Summer, chestnut gelding Omond Taloha; Traggat, bay gelding Omond Divorce and Wind Song.
