i BIDWILL GETS DETROIT LEASE Rumors from Detroit are that Charles Bidwill, secretary of the Illinois Turf Association and interested in several Chicago tracks, as well as owning a large stable of horses, was awarded the lease on the Detroit Fair Grounds for a meeting of 100 days. It was intimated that a group of Detroit sportsmen and others affiliated with the American Turf Association, of which Col. M. J. Winn is the head, would be interested with Mr. Bidwill in this new venture.
