g a b v c n s j t, v a at 0 v j j j j v v t t r i c 1 I " J t t j 1 KENILWORTH PARK NOTES t Lloyd Gentry received word from Arlington Park that Projectile, which was purchased by his patron, H. C. Hatch, from Adolphe Pons, was being shipped to Hamilton. Projectile was rated highly among the leading two-year-olds of 1932 and is a stable-mate of the sterling three-year-old filly, Swivel. The C. Smythe stable that was made up of fourteen racers when concentrated at the first meeting at Hamilton, has now dwindled to but five performers, which include Caryldon, Canny Age, Exhibition, Ladder and White Thorn. Most of the missing members were claimed, while a couple of others were giver away. Nominations for the Kenilworth Handicap and Ontario Handicap, the latter for home-bred performers, will close with racing secretary W. R. Norvell at his office Thursday morning. Both events are to be contested Saturday and in each a prize of ,200 will be added. Incidentally, each event i3 a mile and one-sixteenth. The following horses will be provided with outside positions when engaged at Kenilworth Park: Westys Butler, Len Sweep, Mintmagi Stephanus, Easter Dandy, Jolly Pilot, Platinum Blonde, Flighty Anna, To Arms, Khaki John and Bald Crest. Word was received here that the R. S. McLaughlin stable, which houses several useful performers, reached Hamilton and was immediately placed under shelter. Roy Waldron has arranged to ship the good handicap performer, Magyar, and others of the Mrs. C. O. Iselin stable to Hamilton. Waldron will also take along several that he has in training for Joseph E. Wide-ner. The following riders have signified their intentions of going to Hamilton and will be on hand for the opening on August 2: R. Moser, J. Thomas, J. McCoy, J. Mattioli, G. Riley, J. Burrill, G. Seabo, T. Burns, F. Dougherty, G. Pruchnicki, P. Remillard, R. Townrow, N. Foden, T. Vercher, F. Madeley, J. Craigmyle and J. Mann. The following horses have "been added to the outside list, which now consists of fifteen racers, with the addition of Darkling, Rockroma, Speed Girl and Wrigley Field. Mr. Gaiety, who was recently claimed from F. Fox at Niagara Falls, will make his debut in the silks of J. E. Patchett on Friday at Kenilworth Park. R. Garvin is making the riding engagements for jockey J. Burrill, who recently signed a three-year contract with A. J. Abel.
