Ronald, owner of the sensational western colt Help Yourself, is waiting word from the West before making definite plans to ship the colt and others in the string to Hamilton Jockey C. Craigmyle will accompany the shipment. The following stables, all of which raced during the first summer meeting at Hamilton, have notified officials of that association that they are shipping either Monday or Tuesday of next week. The list included L. Clous with seven; Al Gaal, nine; N. McLeod, seven, Mountain Rose Stable, four; Thomcliffe. Stable, fourteen, and J. E. Smallman, fifteen. Trainer T. Bonham, who has the horses of the Tedlu Stable in his care, will ship to Saratoga at the conclusion of the present meeting. Plans however, are not definite as a campaign in Chicago is also being considered. W. C. Irvine, with several useful performers, which includes the good, home-bred sprinter. Battle Plane, will leave for Hamilton as soon as cars are available to ship his stock. General manager A. R. Loudon of the Hamilton Jockey Club, in a telephone conversation with Thomas J. Healey of the Cornelius V. Whitney stable, was told that a division of that stable may be sent up from Saratoga, should the book of the meeting suit the horses that are likely to be picked fo- a Canadian campaign, it is expected that a dozen racers will make up the shipment should the book meet with the approval of Healey. Word was received from Montreal by Paul Ciceri of the Hamilton Jockey Club that the entire stable of W. T. Trenholme of Montreal is being shipped. William Walsh is in charge of the performers, which also includes a division of the Mrs. R. E. Webster stable. The J. U. Gratton racers, which includes the good sprinter Protractor and several useful two-year-olds, will be transferred to Hamilton by trainer F. Werner. The latter is also sending his good three-year-old filly .Espinetta. " Plans for the Mrs. A. J. Abel stable were changed when word was received that stalls have been granted for the seven-day meeting of thi Hamilton Jockey Club. The clever apprentice, J. Burrill, will do the riding for the stable. G. R. Allen, who arrived during the Devonshire Park meeting with several good performers, has decided to remain for the Hamilton Jockey Club meeting. His string will consist of five racers, of which Polyp is the chief reliance.
