ARLINGTON PARK NOTES First of the prominent eastern stables due at Arlington Park for the thirtyday meet ¬ ing starting a week from next Monday is that of William R Coe which will arrive from Belmont Park Tuesday morning Headed by Ladysman winner of the Arling ¬ ton Futurity in 1932 and recent conqueror of Equipoise in the Suburban Handicap the stable embraces sixteen horses and they are in charge of trainer Hugh Fontaine FontainePeter Peter J Coyne trainer for Joseph E Widener informed Arlington officials that he is shipping a half dozen horses here for the meeting headed by the Belmont Stakes winner Peace Chance a candidate for the 35000 added Classic and the two 10000 added specials Stars and Stripes Handicap and Arlington Handicap The eastern sports ¬ man also has several eligibles in each of the three juvenile attractions Greentree Stables Plat Eye victorious in the Juvenile and National Stallion Stakes at Belmont Park Dr D B Knox Wise Bessa recently successful in the Clipsetta Stakes at Latonia and A B Gallahers Chief Cherokee winner of the Thomas Curran Memorial Stakes at Washington Park are among the 187 eligibles for the Hyde Park Stakes Arlington Parks feature for Satur ¬ day June 30 30Hilltown Hilltown one of the numerous candidates of Willis Sharpe Kilmer for the 60000 Ar ¬ lington Futurity and the Hyde Park Stakes is a son of Blenheim Phaona The latter mare is noted as the dam of Easton which recently finished second in the Epsom Derby Hilltown has never started but is reported to be of much promise promiseJohn John B Campbell who succeeds the late Joseph McLennan as racing secretary of the north side course will arrive in Chicago the latter part of the week from his home in New Orleans to assume his Arlington duties
