EVERY DAY IS LADIES DAY Fair Sex Admitted to Cbllinsville CbllinsvilleCourse Course Daily by Paying Thirty ThirtyCents Cents in Taxes COLLINSVILLE 111 June 12 The new arrangement by general manager Robert Sj Eddy Jr whereby all women are admitted to Fairmount Park for only 30 cents daily throughout the remainder of the thirtyfour day meeting has been approved by the fair sex of this vicinity vicinitySince Since the rule was put into effect the middle of last week the attendance at the picturesque Collinsville course has been on the increase marked by the presence of from 1500 to 2000 more women fans daily Eddy previously had tried unsuccessfully to arrange two Ladies Days a week with a free gate entirely However the newly created Illinois Racing Commission refused to sanction the move insisting on its 20cent tax while a government tax of 10 cents is mandatory Under the present rule Fair mount Park waives its service tax taxWomen Women do not need season badges or badges of any sort to enter the grounds Tickets are sold right at the booths at the track
