FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES Tom Root the former rider has been ap ¬ pointed trainer for the horses which race under the Blue Star Stable Mrs A J Per shall and S E Pershall Root replaces A J Pershall who died suddenly Saturday morning The horses racing in the Blue Star Stable colors as well as Mrs A J Per ¬ shall will be disposed of and the weeding out started Tuesday morning when Root acting for Mrs Pershall sold John Mill to Shipp MacMasters MacMastersT T Fowler brought Kavalry Jack the prop ¬ erty of Mrs E Kohler from Kansas City and registered the horse Tuesday TuesdayEd Ed McCuan was a visitor Tuesday morn ¬ ing McCuan came over to see the filly foaled last week by Germaine Chauvelot which is at his farm near here He expects to return to Washington Pajk Tuesday night and will probably ship his stable to Rockingham Park the latter part of the week weekG G W Fritz trainer for the T J Debord stable and jockey W Boganowski severed their connections with that establishment Tuesday morning Mr Debord has not selected a new trainer for the eight horses he has quartered here hereJack Jack Martin wired from Kansas City he was sending two horses here now racing at Riverside Park
