1 MOUNT ROYAL PARK NOTES | $ -. $ Thomas Clark, starter on the Ontario tracks of A. M. Orpen, has been appointed starter for the coming meeting at Kings Park, commencing Saturday, July 2. Jockey H. Gibson left for Syracuse, N. Y., after the second race Monday to ride the C. M. Stables Learoyd in his engagement at that point and will return to Montreal Wednesday night. E. T. Moore departed for Syracuse to join the stable of O. Viau, which has been racing at that point. Apprentice T. Barker accepted his first mount at the meeting when astride Kebbie in the opening race. Barker is under contract to W. Drinkwater and can ride at eighty-five pounds.
