DERBY CONSOLATION STAKES Twelve of Best Three-Year-Olds in Florida Named for Tropical Au Revoir Handicap. MIAMI, Fla., March 30. Twelve of the best three-year-olds in winter racing have been entered in the ,000 Derby Consolation Stakes, the mile and a sixteenth feature of the powerful eight-race program which will wind up the Tropical Park meeting and Florida racing season Monday. - Maemere Farms Mantagna, second in the Florida Derby, is a 5 to 2 favorite to win the Consolation Stakes. The fleet son of Sweep has not started since his Florida Derby engagement, but has worked sensationally for Mondays race. The second choice is E. R. Bradleys Bloodroot, stablemate of the Florida Derby winner, Black Helen. Bloodroot has to her credit the fastest mile race of the Hialeah meeting and a brilliant mile trial over the Gables course. She is held at 4 to 1; Mrs. Charles S. Bromleys Brannon, Fair Fields Stables Sun Fairplay and Albert Abels St. Moritz at 6 to 1.
