DORMIDO, well rated on the inside, saved ground entering the stretch, came very fast through the stretch and came on to win in a driving finish. ALTIVO made up much ground rounding the turn, raced on the outside all the way and was going well at the end. RHYTHM GAL, -off slowly, closed a big gap on the back stretch, was forced to race on the outside rounding the far turn, came with a rush when straightened into the stretch and was going gamely at the end. GEORGES HEIR suffered from lack of racing room after the first half mile, but closed with good courage when free in the last sixteenth. VOLTANNA had some early speed, but tired in the final eighth. The others were always outpaced. PATOKA dwelt at the start and had no chance thereafter. WEE SANTA went to the front at once, steadily drew away from her opposition and won with ease. FLASHY GEORGE, off slowly, came with a rush on the outside rounding the turn andwas going fastest of all at the end, but could not get to the winner. WISE ACE, close up throughout, finished .gamely. VERA CROFTON, off well, was shuffled back in the first quarter, came again rounding the turn and was going very fast at the finish, but could not get to the winner. MY LETITIA made up much ground rounding the stretch turn and was going gamely at the finish. MORE ANON went to the front at the start, set the pace to the head of the stretch, but tired in the run home. BUNCH BOY closed some ground in the stretch, but could not reach the leaders. SIR VAL closed a gap cnterine the stretch and was going very fast at the finish. LA REINA, close up in the early running, tired in the final eighth. KINGS X. had no excuse. The latter came through between horses entering the stretch and got to the front momentarily at the seventy-yard post, but failed to stall off the winner. SUDDEN CHANGE went to the front at once, took a long lead, but tired badly in the last eighth. BONNIE BEACH showed some early speed, but tired. HEDON, off last, trailed the field all the way. PAPLAY broke away from his groom when being led over from the receiving barn and ran around the centerfield for about fifteen minutes, broke a sprinkler and seemed to be injured slightly, then was ordered excused by the stewards. JUSTA HYMN came from far back and was going very fast through the stretch, but could not get to the leaders. PLUM SHOT ran evenly throughout. MARYSE had some early speed, but tired. PRETTY QUICK broke forwardly, dropped back to third place, then came with a rush in the stretch and got up to win in a drivjng finish. CHRISTIE FLANAGAN, close to the early leader, came through on the rail entering the stretch, got to the front at the eighth post, but failed to hold the fast-closing winner. WILLIE KLEIN, taken back off the early pace, ran along the rail all the way, started to move up in the stretch, and could not get through, but was racing gamely at the end. LITTLE BROOM went tp the front soon after the start, set the pace to the stretch head, then tired slightly in the final drive. BROWN BANK, off very slowly, steadily gained on the leaders, saving ground all the way on the rail and was going well at the finish. DEL WELLES and SPECKLE raced wide entering the stretch.
