PUSH OLD AGE PENSION BILL WASHINGTON, D. C, April 8. The House Ways and Means Committee has filed a formal report urging the enactment of the Presidents economic security bill. At the same time the committee issued a warning that the problem of caring for the aged will become more serious as time goe3 on. The report stated that 1,000,000 persons over sixty-five years of age are now on relief and these would be entitled to a pension under state laws. The limit of 5 a person on federal contributions to state old age pension systems was approved. The states must match that sum and can enlarge upon it if they so desire.
