LEANO, always close to the early pace, saved ground on the inside, came with a rush through the stretch and won in the last few .strides. MARVINA, far back for the first half mile, closed a big gap while rounding-the stretch turn and was going very fast at the end, but. could not catch the winner. REQUIEM came around the entire field entering the stretch and was going gamely at the end. ZIZAH, close up throughout, closed with courage, but was tiring in the stretch run. ANTHONY WAYNE closed some ground in the last "f eighth. EASTER STYLE lacked racing room and could never get up. The others were always outrun. BOLAMOLA, taken back off the early pace, steadily improved his position while rounding the stretch turn, came to the inside entering the stretch and won eased up. FLYING DAZZLER came from far back on the outside, was closing very fast through the stretch and got up in time to nose out EL TOTO for second place. The latter, close to the early pacemaker throughout, was going well at the end, but failed to hold FLYING DAZZLER. MISS DOUBLET, always in a contending position, tired slightly in the final drive. MILANDRA ran evenly. SHORTAGE tired after showing early speed. STRATAGEM reared into the air as the start came, then wheeled to the inside and trailed far back. Scratched 08563 Happy Chandler, 115. BON EVA, off slowly, steadily gained on the leaders, saving ground on the rail all the way, drew away when straightened into the stretch and won as her rider pleased. DONALD, close up throughout, closed gamely, but was no match for the winner. IMA DREAMER went t.the front soon after the start, set the pace to the stretch head, then tired in the run home. PIMA GIRL, close up all the way, tired in the stretch run when the real racing began. SILVER CROWN closed some ground rounding the turn, but could never get to the leaders. MINT BIRD closed a big gap in the stretch run and finished with good courage. PICO BLANCO went to the front at the start and set the pace to the stretch head, then tired in the run home. BEA could never improve her position. LA HONDA and CRABTREE both tired after showing early foot. SHOOT FOOT acted very badly at the post, was off slowly and pulled up in the stretch.
