HERMANITA, under good urging from the beginning, drew, away after disposing of GOLDEN SAINT, but tired rapidly in the drive. SUNCIRCLE BLAZE worked her way forward steadily and held on welL PORTER CALL propped at the start, made up ground rapidly after the opening quarter, but tired in the stretch. PLUCKY BABY, much the best and well handled, was saved when outrun, came around the leaders for the drive, was carried wide by UPTODATE all through the stretch, but outfinished the latter. UPTODATE, hustled into the lead soon after, the start, drew clear after disposing of WILDERNESS WAY, carried SASSENACH wide nearing the final quarter, repeatedly interfered with DANDY DANCER and the winner during - the stretch run and tired in the last stages. DANDY DANCER, outrun for threcighths, was impeded when UPTODATE was steered wide in the stretch, and tired thereafter. HERE ON made up ground.
