HARVARD HANDICAP TODAY Seven Named to Start in Main Attraction of Wednesdays Program at Rockingham Park. SALEM, N, H., May 28. For the mid-week feature at Rockingham Park, the Harvard Handicap is being offered. The Harvard, a dash of six furlongs, is endowed with a purse of ,500 added and is the fifth of the twelve major offerings to be decided during the twenty-nine day session. The Harvard closed May 20 with twenty-eight nominations. It is one of the two stakes confined exclusively to three-year-olds, the other being the piece de resistance of the meeting, the rich Decoration Day Handicap. Seven have been named through the entry box in the Harvard. Purple Knight, scheduled to make his first start of the meeting, has been allotted top weight by handicapper Monroe. He is asked to shoulder 115 pounds. Bachelor Dinner, which has carried the silks of A. G. Vanderbilt to two scores at the meeting, is next in line with 114 "pounds. The weight then drops to 105 pounds, at which Spixi and Hardware are held. Pantoufle, C. V. Whitney filly, is well suited with the weight arrangement, having been assigned 101 pounds, the same as Pretty Knight, a recent arrival here. Rough Party, one of the most improved fillies in training and an easy winner in her last trip postward, is the light weight of the party, being assigned 100 pounds.
